The Artist Behind the Renders
I’m Leila, a professional lighting designer and 3D visualisation artist based in Portugal, working with clients globally. My work focuses on the aesthetic and emotional experience of space, helping architects and interior designers translate abstract concepts into precise 3D models and immersive visual realities that clients can genuinely connect with.
I specialise in bridging the gap between technical drawings and atmosphere — developing each SketchUp 3D model with careful attention to proportion, materiality, and, above all, lighting design. Using advanced tools, including a lighting simulator, I ensure that every model 3D environment reflects not only how a space looks, but how it feels.
My approach combines engineering precision with a photographer’s sensitivity to light. For me, a successful render goes beyond pixels — it is about accuracy, atmosphere, and the narrative of the space.
